Registrations are accepted by mail only and not by phone. Registration forms are provided by the camp and may be requested by phone 318-938-1221 or www.campbethany.com. Additional copies may be copied as needed. Registrations are accepted on a first come/first served basis by the church groups only and should reach the camp no later than the dates indicated on the form individuals should not forward a form without its being accompanied by a form for the counselor. A registration fee of $25 is required for each camper for Kidz Misson and Preteen but for Camp Fuego it is a registration fee of $45.00 non refundable. Adult Leaders Adult Leaders are required on a ration of one to nine campers of the same gender. (Youth Camp requires a ratio of 1:7) A registration form must be completed for each adult leader and the adult leader must be named before registrations can be accepted for campers. Churches unable to secure adult leaders on the above ratio must contact other churches if you expect to combine groups in order to meet the ratio requirements. DO NOT ASK THE CAMP TO PLACE CAMPERS WITH THOSE FROM OTHER CHURCHES. Adult leaders will be expected to supervise their campers during the entire week of camp. A adult leaders leaving the camp early in the morning and returning late at night will not be acceptable. Adult leaders must stay with their groups for all activities. Adult leaders shall be responsible for maintaining for their group dress standards that will honor and please our Lord. No inappropriate attire such as short shorts, tank tops, halter tops and any clothing that exposes midriff are allowed. No bikinis are allowed. Youth adult leaders must be 21 years of age and over and will be responsible for the conduct of the youth they bring. Children’s camp adult leaders must be 18 years of age and over. Scholarships A limited number of scholarships will be available to provide partial payment for children and youth attending Preteen and Youth camps for Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association churches. Awards will be made to children and youth who need financial assistance to attend camp. The amount awarded will be equal to one-half the registration fee and will be limited to campers from churches with 150 or less in the average Sunday school attendance as reported to the Association in the last Uniform church letter. Application forms for Parkhurst scholarship for Preteen Camp and/or Lakeshore Scholarship for Youth camp should be requested from Camp Bethany (318) 938-1221 no later than June 1 and returned to camp June 15. Recipients’ churches will be notified of awards before the end of June. Only one scholarship will be awarded per family, unless there are scholarships left after all other applicants have been considered. Scholarships are not transferable from one camper to another after awards are made. Cancellation Policy In the event a registration must be canceled, the cancellation request must be made in writing or by phone no later than one week prior to the first day of camp in order to receive a refund of the No refunds will be made if requests are received within the week prior to the first day of camp. However, registrations may be transferred to previously unregistered campers. For no-shows the registration fee will not be refunded or allowed to apply against charges for those who came. Registration fee for Preteen is non-refundable.
